Terms of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Zerga app ("Zerga", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Zerga, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
Zerga helps you track the sugar you eat and drink: AI photo scans, barcode and food search, a personal daily limit, progress and reminders. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Zerga.
2. Not medical advice
Zerga is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and does not replace a doctor, dietitian or other health professional. Your daily limit is a general guideline based on your answers. Always ask a professional before changing your diet, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or take medication.
3. AI values are estimates
Sugar values from photo scans and other AI features are estimates and can be wrong. Product data from barcodes comes from third-party databases (Open Food Facts) and may be incomplete. Check packaging when accuracy matters.
4. Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
5. Subscriptions
- Zerga Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, offered weekly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. To ask for a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Special offers (such as a discounted yearly plan) apply to the first period shown and renew at the price shown at purchase.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Zerga: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, no unlawful content, and no use that infringes others' rights.
7. Your content
Your logs and answers belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Our content
Zerga, its design, text, graphics and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use.
9. Apple
If you downloaded Zerga from the App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms are between you and Zerga, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Zerga is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or that its estimates will be accurate, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.
11. Changes and termination
We may update Zerga and these Terms. If changes are important, we will tell you in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms. You can stop using Zerga at any time.
